Chakra

 Chakra

Chakra means wheel or vortex. The term chakra is originated from the Sanskrit word, which means ‘wheel’. Many of you must be familiar with the term chakra. In the world of energy healing, ‘Chakra’ is a very common word. It refers to the energy vortex of the energy body of any living being.

There are 72,000 energy channels or nadis present in the human energy body. These invisible energy channels or nadis are the units along which the vital energy or ‘Prana’ moves in the body. All these energy channels are connected to the major seven chakras or energy vertex of the energy body.

 These seven major chakras are

  1. Root Chakra or Muladhara Chakra.
  2. Sacral Chakra or Swadhisthan Chakra
  3. Solar plexus Chakra or Manipura Chakra
  4. Heart Chakra or Anahata Chakra
  5. Throat Chakra or Visuddhi Chakra
  6. Third eye/Brow Chakra or Ajna Chakra
  7. Crown Chakra or Sahasrara Chakra

The major energy vortex resembles spinning wheels. These 7 chakras absorb energy from the cosmic energy or the universal energy field which is then directed to all the 72,000 energy channels from the major chakras. No one can find them in the physical body. Also, it is not visible through naked human eyes. But very few people with certain psychic abilities activated can see or feel them.

These seven major chakras are associated with different colors and they are continuously spinning either anti-clockwise or clockwise. Each chakra spins or vibrates at a different rate. Starting from the lowest spinning rate in the root chakra and gradually increases the spinning rate in the crown chakra. They are like funnels or ice cream cones. Near the skin surface, the chakras are compact and gradually it widens as it extends outside the physical body. The crown chakra which locates at the top of the head is associated with two vortices that spiral upward and downward in both directions. The root chakra and the other five chakras are associated with three or more vortices that spiral front, back, upward and downward.

If we try to find out the virtual location of these major chakras in the physical body then it might be along the spinal cord. The chakras have a deep relationship with the physical body and its functions. Because they are the fundamental unit of the psychophysical existence of the five senses: Touch, vision, sound, smell, and taste.

The chakras are also associated with different internal body organs and endocrine glands and we all know that endocrine glands are very important because they control the growth of the body and different other activities too.

Chakra & associated organs & Glands

There are many minor chakras located in different parts of the body including the center of the palms and soles of the feet, even on the fingertips and toe tips too.

When all the major chakras are healthy and balanced that leads to a holistic lifestyle. But if there is an energy blockage in any of these major chakras then that impacts the respective aspect of life. It can be a physical aspect, emotional aspect, mental aspect, financial aspect, or spiritual aspect. So, all the chakras should be balanced and then only we get an abundance of health wealth, and prosperity in life.
