The basic principle to manoeuvre “Universal Life Force” in Energy Healing:

Imagine a plant growing upward with many branches. The trunk of the tree is transporting all the nutrients from its root to every small branch and all the leaves. Similarly, our body has seven major energy centers or Chakra. From these energy centers, energy flows to every nook and corner of the body. The “Universal Life Force” or “Prana” is the essence of life and the reason for all the functions in the body. There are basic principles regarding the utilization of the subtle energy or the “universal life force” in self-healing. These simple laws govern the energy and healing work:

1. When the “Universal Life Force” or ‘Prana’ can move freely in the physical body, we are in a healthy and balanced state. This free movement happens in the energy body or the subtle body or Sukshma Sharira. The free energy flow through the main energy centers (Chakra) of the body must bring balance to the body, mind, and soul.

2. If there is an energetic blockage occurs in the body, a state of dis-ease is created. When the free flow of energy gets disrupted to and from the major chakras different health problem occurs. It not only affects the physical body but also the mental and emotional disbalance happen. To bring the body, mind, and soul in a balanced state, the flow of Prana should be uninterrupted.

3. “Universal Life Force” is a living force that has consciousness. It is an intelligent energy that can be controlled with awareness. An energy healer can easily sense the energy and can direct it to improve the health of a person. A practitioner’s intuitive power guides him where the flow is needed in the body.

4. Natural tendency of the body is to maintain internal balance. The scientific term of this mechanism is called homeostasis. Our energy body also naturally seeks equilibrium which maintains health. So, the “Universal life force” also tries to maintain the energy balance in the energy body.

5. There are 5 sheaths or layers of the body. i) Annamaya Kosha or Physical sheath. It is our gross body. It is nourished by food and physical activities like yoga asana can improve this layer. ii) Pranamaya kosha or vital energy sheath. Pranayama or breathing exercises are responsible for keeping this layer healthy. iii) Manomaya kosha or emotional sheath. It includes mind, thought, and emotion. iv) Vijnanmaya kosha or Wisdom sheath. It involves thinking and discriminating power. and v) Anandamaya kosha or blissful sheath.

Here, the Mental sheath (Manomay Kosha) is the reason for any illness that manifests later on in the physical body. This is termed ‘adhija vyadhi’ or stress-borne disease. It includes psychosomatic and stress-related and also lifestyle-related illnesses such as hypertension, diabetes, heart disease, asthma, etc. If the energy body is balanced then any physical body problem can be healed fast. In fact, regular cleansing of the energy body will prevent physical ailments from occurring. There are different exercises (SWAISO, Ping Suai, Dynamic Breathing, Anulom vilom) and methods (Reiki, Chakra healing, Pranic healing, Quantum healing, Aura cleansing, etc.) available to clean the energy body.

6. Negative emotions and negative thoughts stored in the body are the root cause of the energetic disturbance. This then leads to physical ailments frequently. Our unconscious mind holds the energy of any thought, emotion, or memory. So, our thoughts, emotions, and beliefs should be positive as much as possible. Otherwise, unknowingly, we are going to hold onto negative emotions, limiting believes which then will become the cause of different physical ailments due to energy disruption.
